He’s fished Panama for Cabrera Snapper, Roosterfish, Pacific Sailfish and Marlin and Hawaii for Tuna and Marlin. In the 80’s the Capt. was able to get on commercial boats. He long lined Cod in the winter and was a pinhooker for fluke, Flounder and Blackfish commercially. Then it happened. Capt. Dave was invited on a Tuna trip to the Hudson Canyon. Well, after he caught his 1st tuna, he was hooked. Captdavep never lost the feeling of awe, not only for catching Tuna but loved being far offshore in the canyons, He had found his Place. Nowadays, The Capt.’s fun comes from taking people on fishing trips.
